I am a highly experienced bookkeeper and have over 30 years’ experience in all types of bookkeeping and office administration.
My first job was a Legal Secretary for a local firm, then I travelled to Alice Springs in 1994 where I was the Operations Manager and part of the globalisation of Centrebet Sports Betting. After leaving the Northern Territory in 2003, I was a caretaker of a Caravan Park in Bright, then I returned to the border and worked for H&R Block which I gave up when I started a family. I now own my own business which has been registered since 2007. My experience is varied and indeed interesting.
Along my journey, I have acquired a Diploma in Management, Cert IV in Bookkeeping and Cert IV in Secretarial Studies along with training in many software packages including MYOB, Quickbooks, Reckon, Microsoft Office and various other off the shelf products and purpose built software packages. I am also a Registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.
With Cloud technology now becoming the norm, the way we conduct business is changing and I believe that we need to embrace these changes and grow with them, not be afraid of them.
